Der Deutschen Rugby-Verband wurde 2019 Europameister im 7er Rugby und strebt den ambitionierten Schritt in die Weltspitze an. Im kommenden Olympischen Zyklus will sich die Mannschaft erstmals für die Teilnahme an der Sevens World Series sowie die Olympischen Sommerspiele 2024 qualifizieren. Neben dem Top Team ist die Entwicklung des Rugby-Nachwuchses für uns von besonderer Bedeutung, da wir Nachwuchsarbeit aus Überzeugung betreiben. The German Rugby Union became European Rugby 7s champions in 2019 and is aiming for an ambitious step into the world elite. In the upcoming Olympic cycle, the team wants to qualify for the Sevens World Series for the first time as well as the 2024 Summer Olympics. In addition to the Top Team, the development of young rugby talent is of particular importance to us, as we are passionate about youth development.
